Styled Shoot at the Bowery in West Palm Beach: Industrial Antique Glamour - Part Two

Styled Shoot at the Bowery in West Palm Beach: Industrial Antique Glamour - Part Two

Styled shoots are essentially small, mock events or weddings that allow several vendors to collaborate to creative something beautiful and/or innovative. The goal is often publication in industry blogs, but not always.

In Part One of the styled shoot blog, I focused more on the people and concept of our shoot.  Today is all about the details and table setting! Details really make a shoot fun, unique, and set apart from the rest, so I'm excited to share this part of it.

The table setting was one of my favorites! Since the linen was so sparkly and involved, I wanted to keep the rest fairly simple. White plates with silver added that classic touch, along with rose gold silverware, acrylic napkin rings, and ivory napkins.  I also LOVE the marble place cards, also made by the amazing Ink Letter Love!

Onto the rest of the table! We did champagne glasses with gold polka dots, rose gold candle holders, clear glass candle holders, and bright flowers.  I felt very strongly about the brightly colored flowers against the more industrial, rose gold and marble look, as it's not typically done.

I love the bold pops of color against the more neutral tones!

I also did a lot of geometric touches with the tiny marble vases and the rose gold geometric votives. They added a lot of unique touches!

Next up was the INCREDIBLE cake by Johnson's Custom Cakes. It was marble, mixed with pink and geometric shapes...it was perfect!

Another beautiful touch were these heart CHOCOLATE boxes from My Favorite Sweets Favors! Aren't they adorable? So intricate and edible too - the best part!

A few more details! The plate/bowl for our wedding pup, as well as some chocolate chip cookies dipped in white chocolate and covered with (edible) rose gold glitter. So much fun!

Styled Shoot: The Brazilian Court

Styled Shoot: The Brazilian Court

Styled shoots are essentially small, mock events or weddings that allow several vendors to collaborate to creative something beautiful and/or innovative. The goal is often publication in industry blogs, but not always.

I've wanted to do a styled shoot for a while now, and I couldn't think of a better location than The Brazilian Court.  I had been to their restaurant for dinner a year or two ago, and just thought it was so beautiful and intimate.

Once the venue was set, it was all about the theme, design and vendors.  Working with the florist/designer was so helpful in bringing our visions to life, as we really wanted to do something unique and uncommon.  We worked to create two looks: one bright, funky and unexpected, or what we deemed the "casual" look, and the other, the "formal" look - more high-end, antique, with champagne shades and luxurious.

I had a great time working with several local South Florida vendors to bring everything to life, and they all captured the day with their own individual expertise.

Our models, Alex and Will, were fantastic and on board with our vision - and very cooperative in the extreme Florida heat!

I really love this "first look" shot - they were so cute together!

Alex looked stunning in this Rosa Clara gown from Bacio Bacio Bridal Salon.

The casual, bright look was so much fun, and the flowers truly brought it to life. I was so happy with how this turned out! The designers at Xquisite Events are experts in designing exceptional tablescapes and florals.

I loved the invitations and paper story with just a splash of color! Beautiful work from VG Invites.

After the first concept was done, we broke for lunch and came back for the more formal shoot. Before that, Amanda fromAmanda Smith Photography took some location shots with Alex that turned out beautifully.

Onto the more formal, romantic look...

Many of the details were very fun and meaningful - from the silverware that came from one of the designer's grandmother's collection, to the champagne-soaked gummy bears, it was a creative table!

The cake from Sunshine Cake Design was perfect! The filigree details really added to the antique, luxurious feel of the formal look.

The Brazilian Court pool is such a cool little oasis!

Our handsome groom, Will. He was a champ and took as many pictures as we needed!

We walked around the property (and a little bit off of it too!) for some different shots of the couple. Such an incredible location!

I love this happy picture!

More beautiful flowers...

Cheers to a beautiful shoot with amazing people and vendors!
